I had a small issue with my car and wasn’t sure where to take it. One of my clients recommended Denny’s Automotive in Orangevale, and I’m honestly so glad they did.

Robert, the technician, spotted the problem in about three minutes, turned out to be something minor.. and they fixed it on the spot without charging me a thing.
Mike, the owner, is one of those rare, genuinely kind people. He didn’t charge me for the inspection either. No games, no pressure, just real, honest help.

It’s rare to come across a shop that treats people like this. I left feeling taken care of, and if there’s ever anything I can do to return the favor, I’d be happy to.
Highly recommend checking them out if you want honest work and good people.

Used to bring my Jeep here and they were great, now they are terrible. Brought my GTI in and the new mechanic damaged a radiator hose, and cracked my oil pan. Replaced the hose but didn’t find out about the pan until I had the leak checked that developed right after leaving Danny’s.

AVOID THIS SHOP. I just lost over $600 due to their negligence and bad mechanics.

Terrible, terrible experience.

Sucks too because Mike, the service writer, is awesome. Too bad the mechanics destroy your vehicle and then forget to mention it.

My dad has been going to them for years and drives over an hour to get there. They've been my mechanics for several years now and Mike always knows what's up and how to help. Best prices and best service by far.

Went in for a leak in my coolant and shaking when I accelerate. After taking few minutes to look, they immediately said that it was the struts that caused the shaking. And supposedly found the leak along with another leak and of course something else.
They quoted me $3,000 in repairs.
I only got the two leaks done.

Well, my car is still leaking coolant so I don’t know what I paid $1,300 for them to fix. Thank god I didn’t pay them $1,500 for the struts because it wasn’t my struts. It was my axels.

And I don’t live in the area so I can’t go back and have them fix it. Why are mechanics so untrustworthy.

I brought my car here on a recommendation from a friend to get my brakes, rotors, and shocks fixed along with an oil change. They did an inspection and let me know what was going on with it, along with letting me know how much it would be for everything. The technician made sure I knew what was going on with my car and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. The service was fast, friendly, and my car felt new when I received it back. The price for the work done was also the same as it was quoted earlier. I would absolutely come back to get any work done on my car.

UnTrustworthy, Crooks, dishonest, unprofessional, only one good oil change, 😡 1 mo after my 2nd oil change, a vacuum line came off, $335, the 3rd oil change 1 mo later my thermostat starts leaking...see where I'm going, after fixing my thermostat $300, they DID NOT replace my coolant fluid and my AC started blowing warm! Now If need AC recharge $375!!, HOWEVER I called Mike's automotive n Moore's automotive and they advised me to check my radiator fluid!?! What?! I just had my thermostat replaced at Danny's automotive, SURELY I WOULDN'T NEED COOLANT!! BUT I DID NEED COOLANT!! They did not replace my radiator fluid which caused my AC to run hot. I checked my fluid and my reservoir was EMPTY, after being charged for the fluid at Danny's automotive $30!!! 👎👎😑Take your car to Mike's automotive or Moore's automotive!! Leave this place alone!! 👎🤬👎🤬👎🤬👎🤬👎 PS when I called Danny's automotive to offer them a chance to fix their error n stay with them, they lied and blamed it on my car!! He said his BEST mechanic did the repairs on my car, well IF this is the best I'd hate to see their worst!! Sincerely Alice Duncan

Came in for an oil change last week, Heather and Mike took care of my car no problem, I had also asked them to check my brakes to see if I need new pads yet as my car has 95,000 miles and is still on original pads, this is where they're honesty came in they told me my front pads had plenty of meat left on them and they didn't need to be changed yet but my rears did and they set me up for an appointment the following day I came in and was able to pick up my car in 3 hours and it now stops better than ever, no squeaking or vibration at all.
In short if you're looking for a very honest place to have your car worked on I highly recommend these guys they offer every service under the sun.

My husband took our car to Danny's Automotive for a second opinion after we paid for a diagnostic at the Chevy dealership that led to a $4800 repair estimate. Danny's was able to give us options the dealership did not that were far more affordable and also was able to beat the dealership diagnostic price. Though we are deciding to not put more money into our car at this time we will absolutely consider this auto shop for future vehicle maintenance & repairs due to such a pleasant experience. Highly recommend if you need someone honest for your car in the Orangevale area.
