We recently joined DV8 Dance Complex and it has been an absolute game changer for my daughter. Each teacher has invested time into developing her with technique and pushing her beyond what she thought she was capable of doing. She has improved drastically in the time that we've been with the company. But what's most important to me is the culture that they have built in this studio from the older kiddos down to the littles. You always see the bigs conversations and supporting the littles and it just creates such a great atmosphere that I want my child to be a part of. The support that my daughter has felt from day one has been absolutely unmatched. DV8 is her happy place 🖤

My daughter is currently on the competitive team at DV8, and after being involved in various sports, studios, and gymnastics gyms throughout the years with my older children, I can confidently say DV8 stands out. From the moment we first met Melanie and the studio’s owners, my daughter felt an immediate connection and excitement to be a part of DV8. Melanie is not just a teacher; she’s a true mentor. Her dedication, encouragement, and unwavering support have been incredible. As this is our second year with the studio, I can genuinely say that Melanie goes above and beyond, not just in teaching but in motivating and inspiring all of her students. She has a remarkable way of making every child feel valued and capable of achieving their best.

My daughter especially looks up to the older girls on the team, who set an example of hard work and camaraderie. The expectations Melanie sets for her students are not only clear but also upheld by the entire team. It’s amazing to see how the older dancers cheer on the younger ones, celebrating their victories and growth together.

For parents who understand the dedication that goes into preparing a solo, you’ll appreciate how much Melanie puts into the process. She’s there to help perfect each solo, working on choreography and costume details to ensure everything comes together seamlessly. Additionally, she brings in the best choreographers for master classes and to create exciting new routines for the team, making sure the dancers always have fresh, high-quality instruction.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive and passionate dance family at DV8!

We moved from Chicago exactly a year ago and I did my du diligence in finding the perfect studio for my daughters. dv8 was superior in all aspects of dance training and we could not be more thrilled with the director, teachers, owners and company! My daughter has been at DV8 Dance Complex for a few months now and our family is so happy. Our 14 year old daughter has been dancing since she was 3. Her goal is to dance in college and we knew that in order to help her reach those goals, she would need to make a move in high school.
