They had a diagnosis for me same day and provided additional recommendations for maintenance/repairs. Wes, at the front desk, delivered excellent customer service throughout the whole process. Folsom Automotive Service was great. I had a trouble light come on and I was leaving for San Diego in two days. They immediately took me in to analyze the situation, gave me a fair and reasonable estimate and then repaired the car. They tested the repair by driving it to be sure everything was done correctly. I felt safe and secure on my trip to San Diego. The immediate service I received from Folsom was personable, professional, and excellent! I highly recommend their friendly service.

Wes and team at Folsom Automotive were fantastic! Took in our Rogue for a much needed check up and knew brakes would potentially be an issue. I really appreciated that we were able to drop off our car the night before the appointment.

Wes was transparent throughout the process with potential services, cost, and made it very easy to follow along with a web portal showing results from the check in. Wes even mentioned us not needing to fix up the brakes for probably another 3 months, rather than pushing it to be done now which I really appreciated. I ended up asking to get it done since it was already there.

This was our first time going here, and I won't be going anywhere else for anything car services related. Highly recommend coming here!

Wes and the crew at Folsom Automotive Service were wonderful. Their thorough diagnostics presented with photos in an Adobe document was easy to follow and impressive. Communication and updates were as promised and they were friendly and professional.

I had engine issues with my 2019 Mazda Cx-5 turbo. They were able to diagnose and repair the issue faster than other shop's estimates. They stood by their work 100% and took care of me beyond my expectations. They're my new auto shop, I won't go anywhere else.

Wes & Alex at Folsom Automotive Service were very easy to work with. They saved us a lot of money since Toyota and other repair shops wanted significantly more for our Toyota Sequoia repair and service. We had a lot of work done so the turnaround time for parts took a while, and then we ran into some issues after repair, but Wes did the right thing and resolved everything. He is very respectful and polite and thoroughly explains the work performed and the associated costs. I will be using them for service from now on and I would recommend this shop because they are honest and trustworthy.

I’ve taken my car in a few times and the customer service has always been exceptional! When work needs to be done they have been very thorough in the explanation and provide photos of what the issues are. They have also been accommodating of my schedule and stay true to the timeline of repair.

Super courteous. Getting an appointment was pretty easy. Work was great. I did have to return for a minor adjustment but they were super accommodating and got it done in less than 30 minutes.

BEWARE! The manager Tom Craighead lied to me throughout my experience. I was told I needed my entire suspension system replaced on a car with 30,000 miles on it. Rear struts, front struts, rack and pinion, etc. and installed the wrong struts rated for a 2,500 lbs vehicle on my 5,800 lbs Cadillac. When the struts blew out within the first two weeks of installation, I returned my car to Craighead who assured he would fix it to only then reinstall the same 2,500 lbs rated struts on my 5,800 lbs vehicle. Only this time, the shop lifted my car on the jack incorrectly and caused massive damage to the bottom of the vehicle. This was confirmed by both my insurance and Caliber Collision who repaired the damage. Craighead then said sorry for the damage and promised to “make it right”. I then had to call the owner, Joe to have someone from their other shop look at the work. That is when Alex, the shop manager from Joe’s Sacramento location, advised me that indeed the incorrect struts were ordered and installed… TWICE! I was then bartered with about having to pay even more money to get the right parts for my car to have them installed and get my car back. This was all after numerous reassurances from Craighead, the initial work was quality. What a joke! This shop put myself, my wife, my four children, and YOU the public in danger by putting me on the road multiple times with improper parts. Let’s also consider the damage it has done to my car. How much strain on the drive train? How much extra wear on the CV boots, the power steering? Then after my car is finally returned to me, Craighead and Company then turn around and deny the lift damage was caused by their shop. I have posted the text thread showing guilt, I have posted pics of the wrong struts, and the damage to my undercarriage. I am truly hurt by the level of disrespect I feel from the totality of the situation. The only bright spot I can muster to report is Alex, the Sacramento location manager was helpful and kind. But double thumbs down for the business!
