2/21/25 I received a great quick customer service from new advisor John Smith. 15000mil service was quick and including tires rotation and multi point inspection. The only issue with this dealer is they don’t wash the cars.

Had an issue with the drivers side window on a new Toyota Vehicle. I took it in to Folsom Lake Toyota service department and worked with John Smith. He was able to take care of the issue, in the service line, within a few moments. This was our second time working with John. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and communicative. Update: Folsom Lake Toyota reached out to me and rectified the issue. My vehicle now drives smooth and quiet. Not everything the competitor said was accurate but either way, the issue I needed fixed was taken care of. I am changing my rating based on the resolution but the phone issue which is out of the service dept hands still needs to be fixed. The service advisor and clerical staff are very nice.

I have been disappointed with the fact you can never get a service advisor to talk to when you call and no one returns your call. Now I am just livid as I dropped my car off for service on January 3rd with a specific complaint. They stated I bent a tie rod. I approved the service and they "fixed " it. I drove off after the "repair" and a little ways down the road I could hear the same issue I brought it in for. I called to complain about it and no one returned my call as usual. I didn't have time to bring back in as 1. I don't live near there, just work close by and there only 2 days/week; and 2. I was preparing to be off due to needing a surgery in 8 days and wouldn't be able to drive for 6 weeks. Now that I am able to drive as of 3 days ago, I took for an inspection somewhere else as I thought it was still the shock making the noise. Found out the noise I was hearing was still related to the original issue but worse off, the bolt and accessories holding the top in is completely defective. On top of that the competitor also found the shock was also very much needing replaced as well as some bar. Why wasn't the entire system looked at? It was all the same area on the same side. I called again today and left another message with no call back again. Because of this issue, I don't want to drive my dog in the car and have to cancel a specialist appt I have for him next week. Those take weeks to get into. I will be there in a week to get this fixed but in the meantime, I just won't be driving my car. It is extremely frustrating to call and get no service advisor to answer their phone when you get transferred from the operator and when you leave a message they don't return calls. I had a previous issue about getting my radio replaced under warranty. I had to keep calling and calling. Their system needs an overhaul. I don't experience this at other toyota service centers and the location of this one is convenient for work but absolutely a time suck on getting appropriate service. Do better!! I will be there to get the tie rod issue rectified. I just don't think I will have any additional service completed there anymore after this. If they actually listen to it when they drove it out of the shop they would have known the issue wasn't fixed. Also, you had it for two days as the repair was taking too long and I had to get a rental to get home to tend to animals before sunset with an hour drive.
