I cannot say enough good things about Donna. She was an absolute dream to work with throughout pregnancy and delivery of our miracle baby. I'm an older first time mom and because my pregnancy was long-awaited, we started the doula search early. We had a list of doulas we wanted to consult with before choosing but when we met with Donna that was it. She was always responsive, warm, informative and not intrusive. She also never advised me to go against what my doctor was saying, she gave information and explanations, empowered me to be able to ask questions and at my delivery she was the best cheerleader. She empowered my husband to be able to support me and I know my delivery was made such a wonderful experience because we had Donna. I'm forever grateful.

I highly recommend getting a doula! Especially if this is your first baby, Katie was the missing piece we needed! As a first time mom, we didn’t even know where to start! Katie was able to walk my husband and I through all of our questions and get us thinking about things that hadn’t even crossed our mind. She was great to give us an unbiased opinion and lay out all the facts and all of our options. I feel like doctors rush you a bit and Katie was there to slow it down and help my husband and I make educated decisions and be prepared and knowledgeable about all of our options throughout the pregnancy and birth. During birth she was there to walk me through every step and help me feel prepared and supported and safe. If you are considering getting a doula, do it!! And pick Katie!!

We recently used Katie as our birth doula and I could not say enough positive things! She is knowledgeable, personable, and helped immensely in having a positive birth experience, even with things going a bit differently than I had planned. She was always available to answer any questions and was extremely helpful and supportive during my delivery. If you’re in the fence about hiring a doula, do it! 10/10 would recommend Katie and we can’t wait to use her again with our next baby!!

So thankful for my experience with Lily and Suzie! Lily was so much help preparing me for labor and delivery and postpartum as well, and Suzie was amazing during labor. I give Suzie full credit and the reason why I was able to have a completely unmedicated birth. She knew exactly what positions to labor in, pain relief methods to use on me (hip squeezes , etc), and the correct breathing to get through my active labor/transition/and pushing. My husband and I both were amazed by her and call her the “birth whisperer”.
I am so happy with all the support, help, and knowledge received from both Lily and Suzie! They truly care about your goals and helping you get to what you sought out to do!

We had Abby as our doula for our first birth recently and I cannot recommend her enough! If it wasn’t for Abby, I wouldn’t have gotten as natural as a birth as I could have gotten after being induced nor would my labor have progressed as quickly as it did. Abby was hands down the reason I was able to have a natural birth in a hospital. She kept me moving through labor, she supported me both emotionally and physically through my birth and she also helped to support my husband through the entire process. She was an advocate for the birth that we wanted when we were unsure of our choices and options. She has also been an amazing resource for answering my endless questions around pregnancy and birth as a FTM. I truly can’t say enough good things how having Abby at our side made our birthing experience. If you are questioning whether you should have a doula the answer is yes and Abby with Little Lilacs is a great choice!

If you are on the fence about hiring a doula, hire Courtney. If you are expecting and haven't given a doula any thought, still go ahead and hire Courtney. She was absolutely invaluable throughout pregnancy/postpartum and especially during labor and delivery. We had two prenatal visits to go over our birth plan/labor positions/etc, she was there throughout my 40+ hour labor, visited postpartum and was always available to call/text with any questions. With a background in pelvic health, I did what I could to help prepare for delivery but things don't always go as planned. Courtney helped ease our minds and helped navigate changes as they came. She provided unbiased guidance so we could make informed decisions during the whole process.
Courtney is an absolute blessing from God and we are very thankful to share the intimate memories of the birth of our first son with her. I highly recommend Courtney as your doula for your next birth.

I didn’t think I needed a doula because I was having a scheduled c section. But when I started having complications in the last few weeks, a family member suggested a doula. Courtney was a great fit for my family, supported all my choices eventhough they weren’t “all natural”. She gave me the support I needed in the last few weeks before delivery when I was too sick to prepare on my own. She listened and gave information and advice that was new to me eventhough I am an experienced mom. Courtney was with us in the last trimester, birth and postpartum and I honestly feel like I could not have done any of it without her! Doula Mary also stepped in a few times when I needed something last minute - she was outstanding too! Comforting and wonderful with my 2 year old. Little lilacs is a network of wonderful doulas who will never leave you without the support you need 💕
