Our friends highly recommended Fernando’s paella class as a must do when visiting Seville and the experience absolutely lived up to the expectations! We had an incredible time learning how to make authentic paella… and just wait until you see the view!! Fernando was incredibly knowledgeable not just about paella but about the city as well! We cannot wait to cook paella at home with friends and family. This experience is an absolute MUST DO when visiting the city!

My husband and I traveled to Sevilla from the US for the first time this past May. I was keen to set up a unique experience for us as we were celebrating our anniversary whilst there. When I discovered Fernando's rooftop paella cooking class, I knew it would be the perfect event! Fernando was incredible from the first communication. When we arrived, we loved learning the authentic paella recipe and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sangria! The picturesque view was absolute perfection- the sherbert colored sunsetting behind the cathedral was stellar! But, it was the overall ambiance of the entire evening that was just a magical delight! It was a lovely, intimate and fun way to get a taste of Sevilla. By far, this is one of the most cherished highlights of our trip! I'm so glad we did this and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Sevilla - especially if you are looking for something unique and memorable.

What a fun night! We met very close to where we actually had our class. Seriously, there is no better view in Seville than this rooftop terrace! And the small group environment is just perfect.

Fernando has a passion for paella and clearly given a lot of thought to the process for making paella an easy one for students to repeat at home. I'd always been intimidated by the idea of cooking paella before, but I can't wait to go home and do this now! And I'm going to follow his recipe for sangria, too, because it's by far the best I've ever had!

Fernando is a delightful and energetic host. He prepped all of the ingredients for us before we arrived. His dad helped to serve wine and cheese -- love him! Fernando graciously took photos for us, and followed up with an email including the paella and extra recipes.

This was a super fun night with a super tasty dinner and we will be able to recreate this dinner at home in the future -- what a great souvenir from Spain! Thank you, Fernando!

This is an absolutely beautiful experience. From Fernando's exuberant love for what he does to the views to the food to just enjoying an experience. Fernando is a tour guide from his rooftop balcony, and he is a chef (he will tell you more) and he loves his city-Sevilla. Those 3 ingredients make this such a wonderful experience. Even more so if you have been touring and learning but would love to still learn but with a glass of sangria in your hand and the anticipation of the paella.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the paella cooking class by PaellaLegacy, hosted by the delightful Fernando, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Fernando welcomed me warmly into his beautiful apartment, which boasts a spectacular view of Seville that set the perfect backdrop for the evening.
